This course is ideal if you are a student whose first language is not English and you wish to develop your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills for use in a variety of work, study and everyday life situations

WHY CHOOSE US?

The programme is offered from Beginner through to Advanced. It will help you to learn and practise English in many ways, including in the workplace. You will also have the opportunity to develop your maths, digital, employability and personal and social skills. 

All English classes include exam preparation, grammar, listening, pronunciation, reading, speaking, vocabulary and writing. 

When you have reached the required level, you can take one or more of the nationally-recognised English Speaking Board ESOL Skills for Life examinations.

You can expect a variety of resources, including course books and on-line materials. Classroom activities include individual work, pair and group work, role-play and whole class work, videos and language games.

Our students can progress on to the next level of ESOL or a range of Further Education and Higher Education courses based on their attained level of English and maths.

Entry Requirements 

You do not need any qualifications to start, but you must be between 16 and 18 years old by 31 August 2024 and you must live in the UK. 

You will need to attend an assessment and interview before you start to help decide which level is best for you.
