Keeping plants alive

While many are enjoying the extra time at home in the garden, we should spare a thought for Old Warden Park Horticultural Technician Ross Edwards who has been charged with maintaining the blossoming “course work” of students of Shuttleworth College throughout the lockdown.

Ross is watching over the plants which are critical to the Royal Horticultural Society and other garden studies.

He has been sharing photos on the Shuttleworth College Horticulture Facebook page to reassure students that their plants are thriving while they are away.

Paul Labous, RHS Tutor says: “We were very grateful to for Ross working on the Walled Garden unit and keeping essential plants alive, for the RHS and other courses.”
