Well-known in Bedfordshire, Northants and MK for representing The Bedford College Group with employers, Gina Bubbins now has a new role within the region’s number one apprenticeships and training organisation.

As Director of Partnerships and Commercial at the Group, Gina is leading on development work with employers, partners and stakeholders, interpreting local market information and helping the Group recognise and exploit opportunities to better support businesses.

Meeting the need for skills

Following involvement in recent forums such as the Local Skills Improvement Plan sessions with local Chambers of Commerce, Gina will be developing a commercial strategy, leading bidding opportunities for regionally-aligned projects for the Group and will support the creation of a new curriculum that meets needs for skills.

“I’m very happy to be able to put my decades of experience in the private sector and in the public arena to bring together the needs of businesses with the provision offered by TBCG,” said Gina,

“If anyone from any businesses, large or small, want to talk about how we can help them with skills training please get in touch.”
