Friday night fun for Tresham students

Friday night fun for Tresham students PR Story

Production and Performing Arts students helped to create a fantastic array of Halloween characters for the East Carlton Scare Walk in Corby on Tuesday 31st October.

BTEC Level 3 Production Arts (make-up) students provided the theatrical special effects make-up for BTEC Level 3 Acting and Musical Theatre students.  The result was a horrifying collection of ghouls and fiends ready to scare the public witless.

Abby Smith, Lecturer in Performing Arts and Production Arts said it was a great opportunity for the students to gain industry specific work experience:

“This is our third year taking part in the Scare Walk and every year the event gets bigger and bigger, hosting thousands of local people.  This year we took fifty of our students as it provides invaluable experience of working on a live project, they all collaborated to create the characters and make the event a visual success.”
