60 years of skills

Bedford Construction HE

Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, Wadys Electrical and Mechanical Building Services is an outstanding example of investing in skills for the future.

The family firm, based in Dean Street, Bedford has a rolling programme of apprentices, some of whom are pictured here on site at Cotton End Lower School.

It was established in 1959 by John Wady and his son Doug, now Managing Director, and colleague Dave Bishop, Operations Director, are keeping ahead of the changing times in the industry by delivering projects up to £3 Million.

Wadys have been working closely with Bedford College for a number of years to develop their workforce of the future by training their apprentices who attend courses regularly.
